What can I do for my poor nails after I have removed the fake ones?

my nails are seriously a mess now that I took my fake ones off, how do I make them look better? What can I do for my poor nails after I have removed the fake ones?
Buff your nails smooth with a buffer and put two coats of a good quality clear polish like OPI on them until they grow out and you can cut the thin, weak nails off. What can I do for my poor nails after I have removed the fake ones?
Cut and file nails short. Apply 2 coats of OPI ';Nail Envy';, nail strengthener (great stuff). Apply polish, if desired. If no polish desired, the Nail Envy has a nice, shiny finish that looks fine alone. Apply another coat of NE once or twice more during the week.

After one week, remove all NE, file, treat cuticles with oil, push back, etc. then reapply NE as before, following up during the week as before.

In a few weeks you will have some fairly decent natural nails. Keep in mind that after acrylics the nat. nail is thin and until all the nail that was under the acr. is grown out and trimmed off, your nails will be thin. Have patience, acrylics cause no permanent damage. As soon as the thin part grows out, you will have the same nails you had before. Then you will probably want acrylics again! lol
Buff them up a bit and apply a coat of nail hardnener every couple of days, don't take off the old coat to re apply as you'll then be using nail polish remover a lot which dries out your nails.
There really isn't a whole lot you can do except to really baby them while they are healing and growing out. Get some good vitamin E oil and rub it on your nails every day. It will help the cuticles from drying out. Then keep your nails trimmed fairly short until all the damage has grown out. If you didn't have your nails removed by a salon, getting a manicure will help a ton.
Mix Knox Gelatin with orange juice.

Eat veggies, cooked or in salad.

Drink plenty of water.

Knox gelatin is great for nails but it is an INCOMPLETE protein, so chow down on some meat too.

You should see results in a coupla weeks.
Frankly, that's just the wy they're gonna look for a while. That's the con to wearing fake nails. Just clip them short and keep them that way. Also, make sure to wear thickening nail polish. Like Sally Hansen's Hard As Nails. You just have to wait until your nails grow out all the way, so all of the glue and stuff is off.
I have found that using a nail thinkener, or clear nail polish, and keep applying everyday. I have also used the green tea nail growth nail polish and it acutally works really well
