They're harder.Why do fake nails tickle so much?
It might possibly be a sort of combination of the substance of the fake nail with the motion of the finger, which is close enough that some people might experience the both as a sort of double tickle. It could for some people be a sort of converse to the way some say it tickles more when they're in socks than when they're barefoot.
I've been tickled with both fake nails and real ones. Personally I think both tickle equally as well. I can't really tell the difference. Either kind will have me laughing like crazy in no time.
Because they are longer and thicker and probably harder.
