Calling all ladies with fake nails.?

I need to know whats better Acrylic or gel nails?

I like them french with glitter mixed into the white and long ,

I use my hands a lot so they need to be able to stand up to rough handling.

What one is better and why?

Thanks Ladies.Calling all ladies with fake nails.?
gel are usually more expensive but are supossed to last longer.

they pretty much look the same so it kinda comes down to ur financial situation.

i use crystalCalling all ladies with fake nails.?
i do nails. acrylic is more durable and water tolerant. easier to remove (in acetone) and cheaper. gel looks nicer but they lift easier.

but if its important to have them long lasting, pay a bit extra and see a good nail tech. cheap ones break often, and the more they break the more you pay anyway.

some techs can put nails on that dont budge for 5 weeks. but if you find someone who specialises in gel, they can last that long too. gel does look better, but acrylic hands down for durability.

i manage 3-4 weeks without maintenance with my customers.
acrylic because the gel hurts when they dry it onto your nails it burns. as far as length you should get them short if you use your hands a lot. gels are better for glitter but when you take them off the gel is really hard to take off and it hurts. the acrylic is easier to take off.
I've gotten both and, personally, I LOVE the gel nails: they felt better, looked more natural and lasted longer. I even got them done for my wedding day. They may be a bit more expensive, but they are definitely worth it in my opinion. :)
I don't have fake nails I got real nails! But I hear that acrylic is strong and I really don't know about gel! I too use this hands too much too! So I know what you mean! Why I think that a acrylic is a stronger then gel and it will last longer!
The gel is better, it looks better when you go in for fills.

and it is shine-ier. and look more professional.

but I think both hurt for the first few day's .

I think they stand up equally to rough handling.
I use acrylic nails.
