I am having trouble removing fake nails.?

I ran out of nail polish remover, is there anything else I can use to soften the polish, to make it easier for the nail to come off?I am having trouble removing fake nails.?
hot water always works.I am having trouble removing fake nails.?
I don't know if you live in NY or not but the nail salons here uses a Metrocard. They slip it under the fake nail slowly and it pops it off.

If you don't have a metrocard maybe you can find a really flat flexible card. Hope this helps.
Use another plastic nail that you hold onto. Take the plastic nail and slide it under your acrylic/fake nail. Usually it is easier if your fake nails have like an air bubble or it's like popping up from the side or the top.
I know you said that you ran out of nail polish remover, so you might want to try using rubbing alcohol...when you did have the nail polosh remover though, did you use acetone?
Acetone
Soak them in a glass bowl filled with acetone (if you have a local Sally's Beauty Supply, get their acetone; it works better than grocery store brands). Then use some hand lotion or oil to nourish the natural nail. You might want to file a bit of the artificial nail off away as they dissolve (but be careful not to hit the natural nail!).
soak them in the hottest water you can stand then you should be able to take them off.
soak your hands in warm water , that helps to soften the nail that way the nail comes off easly.
acetone
The best option to remove your nails if you had them put on at a salon or even at home is to visit a salon for proper removal. However, this may not be an option. The best way to remove your nails at home is to soak your fingers in acetone or acetone-containing nail polish remover for 15 minutes and then proceed to remove your nails gently from the cuticle up. You can use a clean fingernail file to do this. Be careful that you soak your nails long enough to loosen them and be careful when removing them. After removing them, consider soaking your nails in rubbing alcohol for 5-10 minutes to clean the nail bed area and do not forget to apply lotion to your nails to keep the skin around your cuticle healthy.

soak them in rubbing alcohal
just try to soak your nails in hot water. put hot water in a cup, then soak your nails in that cup for about 15-20 mins and then just use some q-tips and rub your nails as hard as you can without hurting them.
