I have prom this Saturday and i am in track .. i want to get fake nails but im afraid they might brake?

what do i do i have prom on Saturday and track the rest of the week the prom again on the next Saturday and i throw in the shotput and diskis what do i do...?I have prom this Saturday and i am in track .. i want to get fake nails but im afraid they might brake?

If you have good salon with good nail tech , your fake nails can last up to 4 weeks .


the first 2 weeks they will look the best , and you may need a fill after that .


if you want to save money the best way is do it just few days before .


the one week later, if they don't look like you want no more ,just come back do a reshape or color change .


one more thing when you go to salon ask for owner or manager do your nails ( they will most likely take care you better ).

Don't get them done to early and don't do the fake nails.





Just treat yourself to a pedicure and manicure the day before with a nice color.





Short nails are more natural and are the in thing.





Don' stress, it's all about enjoying yourself and having fun.
Maybe skip getting your nails done. If you get them done, and they break, your nails are going to look horrible. It's prom, everybody will be focased on your hair and dress! They wont even notice if you don't have your nails done.
You should be ok in the discus unless you have a terrible release. And shot shouldn't be a problem either.





I've had my nails done and threw in track and played softball. Didn't have a problem with them breaking at all.
if your afraid they will break get gel nails instead of acrylic they last way longer and the rarely chip unless your doing some kind of heavy duty work
You can buy fake nails at WalMart or a dollar store. Just put them on before prom, and you should be good to go :)
Get them done a day or two before prom. That way they'll be new and pretty and you won't have to worry about breaking them.
qet them done after yur track meet; or qet them cut short;
