What are the best type of fake nails?? gel , acrylic, etc.?

please help wanting to get nails in 1 week please help with my choice...What are the best type of fake nails?? gel , acrylic, etc.?
My favs are gels, iv had em all and think gels last longer and look more natural.What are the best type of fake nails?? gel , acrylic, etc.?
Personally I will always go with Acrylic... Just because they are cheaper. Cheaper doesnt always mean worse though-


The only difference Ive ever seen between Gel and Acrylic nails were the price. Gel tends to be more a bit more pricey. Alot of people say that Gel nails will last longer or that they are better quality- But Ive yet to see that. Its really the place you go that makes the difference. I went to a really good nail salon and got Acrylic- They lasted 2 1/2 months. The grew out before the wore off. Just make sure whoever does your nails knows what they are doing. It can make all the difference.

Gel is a bit softer and shinier, but it has more of a tendency to crack especially in the stress areas. Acrylic is harder and less likely to crack. I prefer acrylic over gel because I am kinda hard on my nails.





If you get gel make sure they are acutally using gel and not acrylic. Gel is in a gel form, not a liquid and a powder mixed
Gel and acrylic are the same thing. Gel is a more plyable form. Both are great but what is BEST is the way they are applied and the brand of product used. DON'T Go to the discount salons you find on every street corner and you will get what you pay for!!!! Go to a PROFESSIONAL! Ask for referrals from friends and family!
gel is more exspensive for the same thing. acrylic with pink and white are you best they can be sculpted to how you like them. the key is a good brand and any chain or ';cheap'; place is not the best. their acrylic can damage your natural nail and give you a fungus. a good professional salon is your best bet. i prefer TAMMY TAYLOR because it is better for your nails and they now come in colors :)
i do %26amp; wear acrylic nails. i like them but never have really tried gel, but will one day. they look really natural, so u might want to go with that, but they do cost more. ask a nail tech when u go in what they think is best for u.
The pink/white gels are the BEST but they are super expensive so go with regular gel it is much harder for them to break or fall off!
