Fake nails or painting your nails; which is better?

oh painting them for sure. Fake nails are just so funny looking, and you have to be so careful. And doing your own nails gives you the option to experiment for cheapFake nails or painting your nails; which is better?
It is all a matter of opinion.

painting your nails would be better for them and cheaper, but if you decide to go fake, ask for them to be shorter so that they look more natural
I think painting your nails is, because I think fake nails don't look that great and are really annoying to have on
For me my nails are short if i have a speical occasions i will get my nails done have them on for too weeks refill them then at the end of the month i put special kind of hardner on them for 4 day then i go get them painted =]

Fake nails can look cheap, and they also cause a lot of damage to your natural nail.

Fake nails are so gross. They are literally filled with bacteria and they weaken the real nail-bed underneath.

Paint is healthier. With fake Nails, the glue can be damaging and look horrible once the nails come off. At some pharmacies they have nails that are pre glued which makes them healthier.
Honestly, fake nails are not classy. From their shape, to their length... fake nails are simply trashy. Even the high end. A nice shade of polish painted neatly on the natural nail is the best choice. For those who have brittle nails that are prone to breakage, simply trim them short and apply a light (not that bloody black!) polish. By avoiding fake nails and harsh polish colors, your hands will look delicate and lovely.

I find girls who paint their own nails much more attractive.
Painting in my opinion is better, unless you want to keep going back regularly and spending the money to keep the fake ones up.





My daughter did the fake nail thing for awhile. They really ruined her nails. She won't go back to doing fake nails.

You could be creative and doing your kind of style like with a red and then glitter and white like for the wintery season.(Unless you want a dull color of nails.Up to you)

i tip out with white nail polish and it looks the same to me
in all reality painting your nails is healthier.but for a special occasion you can go with the fake nail.but real is better.
I like painting my nails if they are long or if they are short. I have had fake nails and they are very uncomfortable and when you hit one and it comes off it really hurts and makes your finger sore. I dont think that they are good for your nails.

Depends if you have long nails ... then paint them , if ugly short nails then do the fake ones!
Painting them is much better. I think those fake nails look horrid, especially the really unnaturally long and gaudy ones! EW!
painting your nails if you can, if you are not careful and in the process of applying fake nail something is dirty, tools, hands etc, you can catch a fungus on your nail, which is REALLY hard to get rid of and can make your nail really nasty looking..... if you do get fake nails, either make sure everything you use is clean, including your hands or go to a salon that you trust
Painting your nails is a whole lot easier, because fake nails don't last long. They get scraped off and get dirty easily, and they are more expensive.


Painting your nails is better, because they last longer, both on your nails and in the bottle, they are cheaper, and once the paint is gone you can always paint them again.


But once you paint them and they´re dry, I would recommend covering them with clear nail polish for a cleaner, shiner, and more healthy look. It also makes the polish last longer!
I guess it would depend on how good you are at doing your own nails. Mine always look like crap. So I just buy the ones at the store. I just don't see any point in spending a lot of money to get my nails done by someone Else.
